Walking in their Footsteps

Meeting a former slate quarryman and exploring objects shared by the local history group brought the past to life.

Working with artist Luned Rhys Parri, people recreated the distinctive quarrymen’s boots using newspaper and glue. Through making, they connected with the stories of generations whose lives and work shaped Dyffryn Nantlle.
