The Language in the Land

Felting is an old textile craft and has a long history in Wales. Made from wool, felt connects people to farming and landscapes that have shaped Dyffryn Nantlle.

Working with this traditional material, people created felt landscapes inspired by the valley. They also experimented with natural dyes made from plants including madder, foxglove and heather.

These artworks celebrate the beauty of Dyffryn Nantlle and the deep connection between people, creativity and the land.
