Taste the World

Food is about more than eating. It can bring people together, keep traditions alive and provide a way to share culture, stories and care.

Through Taste the World, young women from the Amanah Girls group came together at Red Sea House to cook, learn and share recipes. As the project developed, they tried new skills, cooked for their families and one another, and grew in confidence and independence.

The kitchen became a place for creativity, friendship and sharing traditions. The young women captured what they created in this cookbook, combining their recipes with their own photography.

More than a collection of recipes, Taste the World celebrates the friendships, confidence and sense of belonging that grew in the kitchen. Every recipe carries a story, and every shared meal creates new memories.
