Our Streets, Our Stories
Adults with learning disabilities across Wales were invited to look at familiar places with fresh eyes through an online photography challenge.
Using prompts such as ‘an interesting sign’ or ‘an interesting window’, people photographed the streets, homes and neighbourhoods around them. Everyday places became opportunities for creativity, curiosity and self-expression.
Their photographs capture everything from local history and changing communities to unexpected beauty and humour. Together, they show that the places we might usually walk past without noticing can have stories to tell.
