Our Cynefin in Art

Cynefin is a Welsh word that describes the place where we feel we belong.

Pupils from Ysgol Bro Lleu explored what cynefin means to them through painting and illustration. Each artwork reflects a different sense of home, place and identity. Together, they show how belonging is shaped by the places we inherit, our experiences in those places and the memories we create.
